About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking to work close to home in Newcastle with a well established commercial builder?

n

Do you have a background on projects up to $50m?

n

This is a permanent, ongoing role offering a strong pipeline of work in Newcastle/Hunter regions.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Site Leadership: Lead all daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and program milestones are met from initial groundbreaking through to handover.
n
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage subbies, direct labour, and specialist trade contractors to maintain momentum and output.
n
- Safety & Compliance: Drive a zero-harm safety culture on site in full compliance with WHS standards.
n
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work hand-in-hand with Project Managers, engineers,



and client representatives to proactively resolve site-level challenges.

What We Are Looking For

n

n
- Track Record: Proven experience as a Lead Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects in the $20M–$50M+ range.
n
- Newcastle Commitment: Currently living in or actively relocating to the Newcastle/Hunter region.
n
- Trade or Tertiary Background: Qualified trade background (Carpentry/Building) or a Degree in Construction Management.
n
- Strong Leadership: Excellent communication, subbie management, and problem-solving capabilities.
n
