About the Opportunity
Securecorp is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for Casual Security Officers at Festival Tower, Adelaide CBD.
Festival Tower is a high-rise corporate site located in the heart of Adelaide CBD. This is an excellent opportunity for professional and customer-focused Security Officers looking to work within a premium corporate environment, with future development opportunities across Festival Tower 2 and the recent Riverlea shopping precinct.
Duties and Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will have the chance to:
- Deliver exceptional security and customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors and staff.
- Guard, patrol, monitor and control assigned premises.
- Conduct internal and external patrols across multiple floors, stairwells and plant areas.
- Monitor and operate CCTV and access control systems.
- Respond to emergencies, alarms and security incidents, providing essential support.
- Assess and address potential security risks and hazards.
- Manage access control and assist with site security procedures.
- Maintain a professional security presence throughout the site.
- Write incident reports and maintain accurate data logs and records.
- Demonstrate initiative and make appropriate decisions when required.
- Support senior security staff and work collaboratively as part of the site team.
Key Selection Criteria
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Hold a current South Australian Security Licence.
- Hold a valid First Aid & CPR certification.
- Have previous experience in the security industry; corporate or retail security experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Are well-presented and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Are confident using computers, including Microsoft Office.
- Have experience with, or the ability to learn, CCTV and access control systems.
- Have basic awareness of fire panels / fire indicator panels, with training provided where required.
- Are physically fit and comfortable conducting patrols across multiple floors, stairwells and plant areas.
- Are comfortable working in areas where exposure to heights may be required.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to make sound decisions when required.
- Can work collaboratively in a team or independently.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, integrity and a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including day shifts, night shifts, weekends and public holidays, is highly desirable.
Rostered Hours
Casual positions are available across a 24/7 operation, with opportunities to work day shifts, night shifts and weekends.
24/7 availability is preferred.
