Full Time | Hybrid - Flexible working arrangements | Sydney Shire Here at Pinn Deavin we are continuing to evolve and invest in our people, technology and advisory capabilities and are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant you will be required to work Full Time in our Sydney Shire Office, during the operating hours of Mon-Fri (8:30am-5pm).
This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with solid public practice experience who is ready to take greater ownership of client relationships and progress beyond traditional compliance work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
- Reviewing BAS, IAS and other taxation compliance work
- Assisting with tax planning and business structuring
- Managing jobs and taking ownership of deadlines and client deliverables
- Building solid relationships and communicating directly with clients
- Working closely with Partners on more complex taxation and advisory matters
- Supporting and reviewing junior team members as your experience develops
About You We're looking for someone who is technically capable, commercially minded and genuinely interested in understanding their clients and their businesses.
Ideally,
you will have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Australian public practice
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification, or be well progressed towards completion
- Strong Xero experience and an interest in cloud accounting and technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The confidence to communicate directly with clients
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- A willingness to learn, take ownership and continue developing technically and commercially
