As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst/Estimator to support our Western Australia and South Australia leadership team, based in Perth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute professional who enjoys partnering with operational leaders to drive business performance, improve profitability and support strategic decision-making across a dynamic operational environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Commercial and Risk Manager, you will partner with BOOM's WA and SA operational and executive leaders to provide commercial support and contribute to regional strategy and business planning.

This role is suited to a commercially minded analyst, estimator or finance business partner who can move confidently between financial modelling, tender development, contract negotiations, and operational performance and decision-making.

Key responsibilities include

- Partnering with operational and executive leaders to provide commercial analysis, financial insight, and decision support.
- Supporting the commercial workstream for significant tenders, including pricing, financial modelling, margin, ROCE and commercial risk assessment.
- Supporting contract negotiations, rate reviews, variations,



and contract profitability for ongoing contract performance.
- Developing and maintaining labour cost models to support EBA negotiations, pricing and business planning.
- Preparing capital expenditure business cases and evaluating investment opportunities. Providing financial analysis for cranes, equipment, and depots.
- Contributing commercial insight to 1, 3 and 5-year business planning across WA and SA.
- Supporting regional business planning and commercial performance improvement initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve commercial processes, reporting and operational efficiency.
- Coaching and supporting operational leaders to strengthen commercial capability across the business.

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in commercial analysis, estimating, finance business partnering, commercial management, or a similar role.
- Experience in industrial services, contracting, crane and lifting, resources services or asset hire will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience across the full commercial contract lifecycle, including tendering, negotiation, contract administration,



variations, commercial and labour cost modelling.
- Experience contributing to or leading the commercial workstream on major tenders or contract negotiations.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and financial modelling capability, including experience with margin, ROCE, DCF, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Robust commercial insight and the ability to interpret financial and operational data to identify risks, opportunities, and actions.
