SENIOR ALL-ROUND OPERATORS - & SECTION 26

Kalgoorlie | +$5/hr Leadership Allowance | Multi-skilled Operations

Ready Resources is seeking three experienced Senior All-Round Operators to join a mining operation in a hands-on operational and shift leadership capacity.

THE ROLE

This position combines multi-skilled equipment operation with Section 26 responsibilities. You'll be the key point of contact during the shift, complete area inspections, respond to operational and emergency issues, and provide guidance to other operators — then get straight back into operating equipment across the ROM and crusher areas.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Completing Section 26 statutory duties and area inspections
- Acting as primary point of contact during the shift
- Taking control of operational, safety and emergency issues
- Checking in on other operators to ensure safe work practices
- Operating a 40-tonne excavator to clean underground ore using a grab bucket
- Rock-breaking activities
- Operating loaders, pushing up stockpiles and feeding ore blends into the crusher
- Accurately operating Loadrite systems
- Operating a grader to maintain the ROM floor
- Operating the water cart as required
- Maintaining strong communication across the work area

ABOUT YOU

- Section 26 competency (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership qualities and confidence to take control
- Demonstrated experience on 40-tonne excavators
- Experience with grab buckets and rock-breaking
- Loader experience — stockpile management and crusher-feed operations
- Loadrite or similar onboard weighing system experience
- Grader and water-cart experience
- Solid understanding of ROM and crushing operations
- Strong hazard identification, decision-making and safety mindset
- Current relevant licences and operating competencies
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A; screening
