As the dedicated sector lead, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic planning with industry university partners, bringing visionary concepts to life and elevating the studio’s reputation within the tertiary sector. Your leadership will be pivotal in redefining student engagement and campus renewal, making this role both impactful and inspiring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and delivery of flagship tertiary education projects, taking full ownership from concept through to construction.
- Drive sector strategy by fostering tertiary relationships and establishing the studio as a leader in university and higher education design.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure innovative, functional, and sustainable outcomes.
- Coordinate and oversee technical detailing using Revit, ensuring precise documentation aligned with project goals.
- Contribute to business development, leveraging tertiary sector connections to secure future project opportunities.
- Manage and mentor design teams, inspiring creative excellence while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
- Represent the studio at industry events, strengthening tertiary sector reputation and establishing key university partnerships.

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum of 10+ years’ local post-graduate experience, with strong tertiary project credentials – university, research facilities, or higher education campuses.




- Proven track record working directly with university project managers and tertiary stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex design projects within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in Revit and still on the tools.
- Strong understanding of tertiary sector principles, contemporary higher education trends, and campus planning.
- Ambitious and strategic thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in leading or managing design teams at a senior level, with a holistic project oversight approach.
