Our Real Estate practice acts for major developers, private owners, WA businesses, government entities, investment funds and fund managers on all aspects of real estate and land development law. This includes acquisitions and disposals, development "from concept to completion", project management, subdivisions, renewable energy and infrastructure projects and complex leasing.

About the role

We are seeking a senior associate to join our Real Estate practice to work in our Perth office with property partner Simon Moen and his team.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills as an excellent real estate lawyer and run your own matters with a high level of autonomy.

As part of a global firm, our Real Estate practice has the ability to service our clients' needs both nationally and internationally and we are able to benefit from the experience of our overseas offices that are at the forefront of some of the property industry's innovative developments.

What does the role involve?

- Serving clients in the following sectors:

- industrial and commercial property
- office
- retail property
- local government
- seniors housing and retirement
- resources sector

- An chance to work closely with, be mentored by and learn from two experienced property law partners
- Being part of a high energy team that is passionate about the real estate sector
- Working closely with clients, other members of the team and other practice groups on a variety of interesting and complex real estate matters




- Assisting clients with their acquisitions and disposals of development sites and built form assets
- Advising on urban renewal projects and property developments
- Undertaking legal due diligence of real estate
- Assisting clients with their investment and co-investment structuring
- Acting for landlords and tenants with their major leasing requirements
- Acting on property aspects of renewable energy and infrastructure projects
- Supporting other teams within the firm on the property aspects of their major projects and transactions
- An opportunity to develop your BD skills and your personal brand in a supportive collaborative workplace
- Maximising the skills development of junior lawyers by supervising and coaching

About You

A high level of client service is expected as are excellent organisational, written and oral communication skills.
