The Role:
We're looking for a highly skilled and commercially minded Senior BI Data Analyst to join our growing technology and data team.
As a Senior BI Data Analyst, you'll play an important role in helping our teams make smarter decisions through trusted data, insightful reporting and meaningful analytics that improve operational performance and patient outcomes. You will work across a range of Amplar Health offerings such as our Virtual Clinic, Primary Care, MyHealth & BetterMedical.
In this role, you'll operate at the intersection of business intelligence, analytics and reporting, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to solve business challenges through data. You'll transform complex information into actionable insights, build impactful visualisations, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our data capabilities.
This is an exciting & impactful prospect as you will influence strategic decision-making, improve performance outcomes and help shape the future of analytics within Amplar Health.
The Responsibilities:
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
- Deliver insights that support operational, clinical and business decision-making.
- Design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards, scorecards and reporting solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical outcomes.
- Develop SQL and Python-based analytical and reporting solutions.
- Build trusted datasets, reusable metrics and reporting frameworks.
- Investigate data quality issues and promote data governance best practices.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and Technology teams to improve data accessibility and quality.
- Provide thought leadership on reporting, analytics and data visualisation standards.
About you:
- 4+ years' experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Analytics or Data-related roles.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong experience working with complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Python for analysis, automation and data preparation.
- Demonstrated experience building Tableau dashboards and visualisations.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to translate business needs into meaningful analytical solutions.
- Experience communicating technical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity and attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, trusted data outcomes.
Bonus if you have experience with:
- AWS, Snowflake, Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.
- Data engineering or analytics engineering concepts.
- Healthcare,
clinical or FHIR data.
- Enterprise-scale reporting environments and data governance frameworks.
