We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to support a major ICT transformation program. This is a strategic role responsible for ensuring the successful identification, governance, measurement and realisation of business benefits across a complex program environment.

Working closely with program leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams and senior executives, you will establish and embed benefits management practices that drive measurable business outcomes, informed decision-making and long-term value realisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a Benefits Management Framework aligned to strategic and program objectives.
- Lead the identification, definition and documentation of perks, dis-benefits, assumptions and dependencies.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to identify and validate expected outcomes.
- Develop and maintain Benefits Realisation Plans, including benefit profiles, measures, targets and reporting requirements.
- Establish benefit ownership and accountability arrangements across business and program stakeholders.
- Define KPI frameworks, measurement approaches, baselines and benefit tracking mechanisms.
- Develop benefits governance processes, reporting templates, dashboards and executive reporting artefacts.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders regarding benefits realisation risks, issues and opportunities.
- Monitor progress towards benefits outcomes and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Integrate benefits management with program governance, business change,



risk management and delivery activities.
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives, business representatives and delivery teams.
- Develop knowledge transfer and handover documentation to support ongoing benefits tracking and reporting.

Essential Experience

- NV1 Security Clearance
- Demonstrated experience establishing benefits management practices within large-scale transformation, digital or ICT programs.
- Proven ability to develop Benefits Realisation Plans and associated governance frameworks.
- Experience identifying, quantifying and tracking strategic, operational and financial benefits.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience working with senior executives and governance boards.
- Demonstrated experience developing KPIs, performance measures, baseline assessments and reporting mechanisms.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-level documentation, reports and presentations.
- Experience working within complex organisational environments with multiple stakeholder groups.

Desirable Experience

- Federal Government or large public sector transformation experience.
- Experience supporting ICT-enabled business change and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience establishing benefits governance, executive dashboards and performance reporting frameworks.
- Qualifications or certifications in Benefits Management, MSP, PRINCE2, P3O, Change Management or related disciplines.
