Senior Business Analyst

Brisbane | Hybrid | Permanent Full-Time

Seers Digital is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Brisbane team and work on large-scale, complex digital and technology initiatives with major enterprise and government clients.

This role is suited to a senior BA who thrives in complex and ambiguous environments — someone who can step into a problem that isn't yet clearly defined, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions and bring structure and clarity to the way forward.

You'll work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to understand the real problems they are trying to solve, translate those needs into clear and practical requirements, and support delivery teams in building solutions that create measurable business value.

What You'll Do

- Lead end-to-end business analysis across complex IT and digital projects
- Lead discovery and requirements elicitation where business needs, objectives or future-state outcomes are not yet clearly defined
- Facilitate workshops with senior business and technical stakeholders
- Challenge assumptions and help ensure proposed solutions address the underlying business problem
- Navigate complex stakeholder environments and build alignment across competing priorities and viewpoints
- Define and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process models and future-state processes
- Partner with project managers, developers, architects, testers and vendors to maintain alignment across scope, requirements and outcomes
- Identify risks, gaps, dependencies and impacts and support delivery teams with mitigation planning
- Support client-facing workshops, presentations and project activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement across BA practices and delivery processes

What You'll Bring

- 10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst across IT, digital or technology transformation projects

- Demonstrated experience leading discovery and requirements elicitation in complex or evolving environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills,



including the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders constructively
- Excellent workshop facilitation and consensus-building capability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and/or hybrid delivery environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and Miro
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving capability
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a broader delivery team

Nice to Have

- Consulting or professional services experience
- Government or large enterprise project experience
- Experience within asset-intensive industries such as transport, utilities, infrastructure, local government or resources
- Experience contributing to major digital transformation or technology programs

- Be available to work from our Brisbane office 3 days per week
