Primary objective
Lead the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of strategic marketing campaigns and events that promote Land
Development Corporation’s (LDC) projects and investment priorities, including the creation of high-quality written content,
digital communications and integrated campaign materials.
Context statement
As a Government Business Division LDC is responsible for delivering strategic land throughout the Northern Territory.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of integrated communication programs or marketing campaigns aligned to corporate and project priorities, including strategy, planning, campaign setup, implementation, monitoring, optimisation and evaluation.
- Plan and deliver events, launches and industry activations from concept through to delivery and reporting.
- Produce compelling, accurate and audience-focused written content across digital, print and multimedia channels,
translating complex or technical information into clear, persuasive communications.
- Provide work planning, task leadership and delivery oversight to maintain clear priorities, timelines and quality standards.
- Manage stakeholders and suppliers, including briefs, procurement coordination and proactive issue and risk resolution.
- Develop professional campaign assets using Adobe Creative Suite and relevant digital platforms, applying sound design,
accessibility and publication principles and maintaining complete, editable and appropriately structured source files.
Selection criteria
Essential
- Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing campaigns, events or stakeholder activations, including strategy development, implementation and evaluation.
- Exceptional persuasive writing, editing and development skills, able to translate complex or technical information into clear,
accurate and audience-focused communications for public, industry, executive and government audiences.
- Strong digital campaign experience across web, social media and paid digital platforms, including campaign setup,
audience targeting, publishing, monitoring, optimisation, performance reporting and account administration.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop, and the ability to produce and adapt professional digital and print materials using sound layout, typography, accessibility and brand-design principles.
- Proven ability to independently plan, prioritise and deliver multiple concurrent workstreams, provide clear task direction to others and escalate emerging risks early in complex or politically sensitive environments.
- High-level stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships, influence outcomes and manage sensitive or competing interests.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capability, identifying risks, opportunities and solutions within government policy and governance frameworks.
Desirable
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, events or related discipline.
- Experience delivering strategic communications within infrastructure, property development or similar environments.
Further information The successful applicant may be required to travel for short periods to locations across the NT and may be required to work outside standard hours to support events and monitor or respond to live campaign activity.
