Goodman is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join our Data Centre Delivery team in Melbourne. This is a senior commercial role supporting the delivery of complex, large-scale data centre projects, with responsibility for leading contract strategy, procurement, claims, variations, cost reporting, forecasting and commercial governance. You’ll work closely with project leadership, development, finance, legal, consultants, contractors and suppliers to provide clear, practical commercial advice and ensure projects are delivered in line with approved budgets, timeframes, contractual obligations and Goodman’s risk appetite. What you’ll be doing

- Leading the commercial and contractual management of assigned data centre projects
- Developing procurement and contracting strategies that support delivery certainty, value for money and risk management
- Managing head contracts, consultant agreements, early works contracts, supply agreements and related project documentation




- Overseeing contractual notices, variations, EOTs, claims, progress payments, final accounts and cost substantiation
- Preparing and reviewing commercial reports, forecasts, cashflow, risk updates, approval papers and executive reporting

- Supporting tender processes, commercial negotiations, tender evaluations and recommendation papers
- Maintaining solid commercial discipline across the project team, including contract registers, procurement trackers, claims registers and audit trails
- Building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders while protecting Goodman’s commercial position

What we’re looking for You’ll bring strong commercial judgement, contract management experience and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, technically complex delivery environment. You will be comfortable balancing detail with the bigger picture, providing practical advice and influencing senior stakeholders. You will have:

- 10+ years’ experience in commercial management, contracts, quantity surveying or a related discipline
- Experience across large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial or mission-critical projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, claims, variations, EOTs, cost control and project governance
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams





- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, cashflow, budget management and cost reporting
- Advanced Excel skills, with experience using Power BI or project reporting tools viewed favourably
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law, Commerce or a related field
