Nutworks is an Australian macadamia processor based on the Sunshine Coast, handling around 10% of the national crop. Home to the Nutworks and Nutty By Nature brands, we supply domestic and export markets with everything from bulk nut-in-shell and flavoured kernel to retail pack varieties, macadamia oil, handmade confectionery and chocolate-coated products. We're now looking for a senior, sales-literate all-rounder to provide full cover for our Account Manager while she's on parental leave.

About the Role

This is a temporary, full time position (approx. 12 months) reporting to the International Sales Manager, structured as a base-salary role. It's a genuinely blended role — not purely a sales job, and not a purely admin job. You'll move between domestic/export and administrative documentation, distributor onboarding support and maintenance, EA-style assistance to the International Sales Manager, phone and email-based lead generation, and maintenance of existing accounts. If you like variety, want real exposure to export and FMCG sales, and are comfortable picking up the phone as well as running point on paperwork, this role offers a lot of scope.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct target market assessments and prepare market briefs on new business opportunities, identifying key decision-makers for the International Sales Manager's review.



● Prepare, process and maintain export market entry paperwork and compliance documentation across multiple international markets.

● Support the onboarding of new domestic and export distributors, including documentation and account set-up.

● Provide EA-style support to the International Sales Manager — diary coordination, correspondence and follow-up.

● Make outbound, phone and email-based introductory and prospecting calls to generate new leads.

● Maintain and update the sales pipeline, and coordinate lead handovers and conversion tracking.

● Serve as day-to-day contact for existing key accounts, managing relationships and resolving requests.

● Pivot into project management or other ad hoc initiatives as priorities require.

● Support planning of demo and sampling activity for key accounts.

About You

● Minimum 4 years' experience in sales, customer service, or account maintenance, ideally within retail, export, FMCG or manufacturing. ● A strong sales background and genuinely comfortable in a sales-driven environment.

● Confident on the phone, including introductory and prospecting calls.

● Highly organised, with the ability to manage a high volume of documentation accurately.

● A flexible, go-getter attitude — happy to pivot across functions rather than stick to a narrow lane.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Comfortable with Microsoft Office suit and confident using AI tools to work smarter and faster; exposure to export documentation, CRM/pipeline tools or ERP systems (e.g. Business Central) is a bonus.
