Senior Data Centre Design Infrastructure Engineer - EL1 Level

- NV1
- Sydney (First 3 months, work fulltime onsite. Thereafter, work 3 days from office and 2 days from home each week)
- 9 months + 24 months

Mandatory Experience

- Site design specific and generic patterns;
- Network Topology drawings;
- Room and rack layout drawings;
- Power topology drawings;
- Data Centre/ICT Room power and cooling capacity;
- Rack size, Rack layouts and Rack locking;
- Rack security classification;
- Key-Secure key allocation design;
- Key safe access control groups.

Senior Data Centre Design Infrastructure Engineer - APS6 Level

- Sydney (First 3 months, work fulltime onsite. Thereafter, work 3 days from office and 2 days from home each week)
- 9 months + 24 months

Mandatory Experience

- Providing technical advice and guidance to project teams, business representatives;
- Identifying and implementing service improvements that enhance reliability, security, supportability,



operational efficiency and user experience;
- Ensuring all projects are delivered in line with the Department’s timeframe;
- Working with Project Managers to define and schedule deliverables;
- Identifying risks, issues and opportunities for the business;
- Supervising and managing staffs;
- Maintaining project work flows as required;
- Leading and managing projects and technical activities;
- Providing strategic planning, mapping and modelling development;
- Coordinating and implementing infrastructure changes;
- Lead major incident responses and recovery activities;
- Troubleshooting of complex technical issues;
- Conducting and analysing root cause of critical incidents;
- Scheduling and managing tasks;
- Review and approve technical change activities.
