We are looking for a seasoned data analytics consultant who excels in developing data-driven solutions. You will be leading transformational initiatives and delivering measurable business success whilst solving complex challenges.
We’re seeking a Senior Consultant with a deep understanding of Data & Analytics to join a dynamic team in Sydney or Melbourne. You will be leading technical problem-solving efforts, collaborating closely with clients and designing tailored analytics strategies to solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models that meet both client and internal needs.
- Lead SQL-based transformations using tools like dbt
- Integrate and manage analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Looker) with data sources, working closely with BI and data teams.
- ETL Development: Oversee the development of robust ETL/ELT pipelines
- Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Guide clients through technical challenges and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Work with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making
Required Skills & Experience
- SQL expertise (5+ years) with strong experience in complex queries, stored procedures, and managing large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Fabric, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Excellent ETL processes and modern data transformation tools (e.g., dbt, Coalesce).
- Expertise in creating compelling data visualizations using tools like Power BI
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver real-time analytics solutions in agile environments.
A range of industry experience is preferred. This is a Permanent position and can be performed in either Sydney or Melbourne. The is hybrid with 2-3 days a week in either CBD office.
