Role Overview

This is a senior, sales‑focused Business Development Manager role within business banking, within the direct channels and proprietary networks.

You will originate new lending and deposit relationships while managing complex and secured, property‑backed transactions.

Key responsibilities

- Originate new business banking relationships across professional and property‑aligned sectors
- Manage complex business and property‑backed lending transactions up to $50m
- Prospect, qualify and convert new clients through active relationship management
- Understand client needs and structure tailored lending solutions
- Build solid referral networks across accountants, lawyers, financial advisers and property professionals
- Achieve monthly targets across sales,



conversion, quality, compliance and KYC

Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in business or commercial banking sales and must have strong connectivity through proprietary channels across either built-in infrastructure, commercial real estate and/or technology
- Strong commercial credit and financial analysis capability
- Demonstrated success in pipeline and relationship management
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Self‑motivated, proactive and target‑driven approach
