Details: Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a skilled and dedicated experienced Educator Level Two to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide educational leadership and certification oversight within the ACT Senior Secondary Department within a vocational setting. The role supports student achievement, progression and successful completion of the ACT Senior Secondary Certificate while maintaining compliance with ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS) requirements.

What we’re looking for

- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra
- Experience in teaching and certification in an ACT College system within the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (BSSS)
- Knowledge and experience of BSSS policy, ACS, and adherence to BSSS policy and procedures.
- Experience in vocational education and training

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 31 December 2026 with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.



A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
