About the Role

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Engagement Advisor for a contract prospect within a NSW Government department. This role provides specialist stakeholder engagement expertise across complex and high-profile departmental programs. You will develop strategies, frameworks, systems and practical tools that improve how engagement is planned, delivered, measured and coordinated across the organisation.

This is a strategic and hands-on position suited to someone who can provide expert advice while also developing engagement plans and supporting consultation activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, frameworks and plans
- Provide strategic advice for complex, sensitive and high-profile programs
- Undertake stakeholder analysis and plan consultation activities
- Support face-to-face and online stakeholder and community engagement
- Develop engagement tools, templates, guidance and training materials
- Coordinate department-wide engagement initiatives and networks
- Improve engagement governance, reporting, performance measurement and risk management
- Support improvements to stakeholder relationship management and CRM systems
- Monitor and evaluate engagement activities and recommend improvements
- Build productive relationships across the department, community and other government agencies

About You





You will be a skilled stakeholder engagement professional who is comfortable working across a large organisation with competing priorities and differing levels of engagement capability.

You will have

- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and communications strategies
- Strong stakeholder analysis, consultation and engagement-planning experience
- Experience providing strategic advice on complex or sensitive programs
- Strong influencing, facilitation and relationship-management skills
- Experience developing engagement frameworks, tools, templates or governance processes
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or substantial equivalent industry experience
- A current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required

Government, regulatory, infrastructure, environmental or other complex public-sector experience will be highly regarded.

Contract Details

- Rate: $106–$120 per hour + super
- Term: ASAP until 31 March 2027
- Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Location: Hybrid, with location negotiable
- Overtime may be required for crisis communications or Incident Management Team activities
