YOUR ROLE

As part of this winning TPD (Total Permanent Disablement)/Superannuation/Insurance TEAM [headed up by one of Australia’s highly respected top senior plaintiff TPD lawyers], you will love the IMMENSE SATISFACTION of communicating directly with clients+ assisting top personal injury lawyers to win compensation + justice for clients who have suffered severe permanent injuries/disabilities.

Key responsibilities include: first point of contact for clients [interviewing+ obtaining preliminary information]+ legal/administrative assistance to TPD/super solicitors [ eg dictaphone typing, preparation of court documents/letters, liaising with doctors/solicitors/insurers/superannuation funds, arranging appointments, preparing briefs to barristers, filing and general administration].

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

- have minimum 1+ year OR MORE PLAINTIFF personal injury legal experience;
- have EITHER had some TPD/super/income protection insurance experience OR [if no experience] have a responsible/genuine keen interest in TPD/superannuation/insurance law;
- are either a career secretary/paralegal OR law student who is NOT looking to become a lawyer for at least 2+ years;
- have strong Microsoft Office (including Word) skills+ can type minimum 50 wpm with high accuracy (spelling/grammar);
- have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- are highly organized and can meet deadlines;
- can work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment;
