Key Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, gathering pertinent medical histories and performing specific assessments to determine effective treatment plans.
- Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, promoting shared decision-making regarding their rehabilitation goals.
- Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that align with the patient's condition and recovery goals, adjusting as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care,



documenting changes in patient conditions that may require modifications to the treatment plans.
- Handle all aspects of discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring timely documentation of patient encounters that reflect their progress and rehabilitation journey.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in managing patient caseloads while meeting productivity standards and maintaining a well-organized schedule.
- Engage in community outreach and marketing activities to enhance patient access to care and promote the clinic’s services.
- Contribute to department development by pursuing ongoing education and training to refine professional competencies, and share knowledge as a clinical instructor to student interns.
- Advocate for patients' needs, help identify barriers to care, and actively engage in initiatives designed to enhance access to rehabilitation services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a physical therapist at Bountiful Life Physical Therapy, you will serve a diverse population of patients ranging from those recovering from surgery to individuals coping with chronic pain, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.

- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, though new graduates and therapists with prior experience will be considered.
