Discovery at Play Early Learning Centres is seeking an experienced, passionate and motivated Centre Director to lead our beautiful 74-place early learning centre in Dalyellup.

With the centre experiencing robust growth in occupancy, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to guide the service through its next stage of growth, strengthen an established team and continue building positive relationships with our children, families and local community.

Located in the beautiful South Bunbury region within the thriving Dalyellup community, our purpose-built centre provides a welcoming and engaging environment for children, families and educators.

About the role

n

As Centre Director, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and leadership of the service. You will provide strong, supportive leadership while ensuring the centre continues to deliver high-quality education and care.

n

With occupancy continuing to grow, you will play an important role in leading the team and supporting the continued success of the service.

n

Key responsibilities

n

Lead the day-to-day operations of the centre

n

Mentor, support and develop a strong team

n

Maintain compliance with the NQF, NQS, National Law and Regulations

n

Drive the QIP, child safety and continuous improvement

n

Build strong relationships with children, families and the community

n

Manage staffing, rostering, budgets and centre performance

n

Support continued occupancy and enrolment growth

n

About you

n

We are looking for a confident and capable leader who enjoys developing people, building a positive culture and taking ownership of their service.

n





You will have:

n

A recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification

n

Minimum two years' experience in a Centre Director, Assistant Director or similar leadership role

n

Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS, National Law and Regulations

n

Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

n

Current Working with Children Check

n

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to update

n

Current Australian driver's licence and confidence driving a minivan

n
