The Opportunity
n
As a casual Personal Care Assistant, you'll work under the guidance of our clinical team to provide compassionate, person-centred care to our residents.
n
You'll have the opportunity to work across morning, afternoon and night shifts, providing essential staffing support across the home, including covering planned annual leave, sick leave and other short-term staffing requirements.
n
You'll play an important role in ensuring our residents continue to receive consistent, high-quality care and support.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver personal care tailored to individual needs, preferences and care plans.
n
- Assist residents with meals, refreshments and daily living activities.
n
- Accurately document care activities and report any changes or exceptions to the care plan.
n
- Support meal planning by checking daily menu requirements.
n
- Carry out tasks delegated by Registered or Enrolled Nurses.
n
- Promote residents' independence, dignity and wellbeing.
n
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
n
- Work collaboratively with the broader care team to ensure continuity of care.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
n
- Availability to work across a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons and nights.
n
- Flexibility to provide coverage for planned and unplanned leave, including sick leave.
n
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
- A genuine passion for aged care and improving the lives of older people.
n
- A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach to work.
n

To be considered for employment with Respect, each candidate must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.
