We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and take ownership of key financial reporting and accounting activities across the business. This role will lead month-end processes, balance sheet integrity, consolidation reporting and tax compliance, while partnering with business leaders to provide meaningful financial insights, improve profitability and drive improvements across finance systems and processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Prepare month end financial reports, profit and loss and assist with management reporting including inputs on commentaries.
- Ensure integrity of the balance sheet accounts and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
- Prepare and post month end general journals, accruals, depreciation, intercompany and elimination journals and other accounting adjustments.
- Preparation of quarterly and yearly consolidation reporting for management and external auditors.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with tax laws (domestic and international), including BAS, FBT, R&D; tax incentive and Income tax returns.
- Business partner with regional and department heads on cost analysis and profit improvements.
- Responsible on the end-to-end process of finance leases.




- Provide input and assist in the preparation of yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Identify and drive improvement opportunities in processes, systems, and procedures to maximise efficiency and streamline reporting.

What You’ll Bring

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or CA.
- At least 5 years’ experience in financial accounting.

- Working knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning will be highly regarded.
