What you’ll be doing.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial insights that support informed decision-making across the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting while contributing to strong financial governance and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

- Complete monthly processes including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide technical accounting advice to broader team and mentor Financial Accountant(s).
- Prepare and assist with project-related accounting.
- Prepare and assist with internal and external audit requirements.
- Assist with annual budgeting process.
- Assist with annual statutory accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

Provide additional appropriate support to wider team and organisation. You will also play an important role in maintaining compliance with financial standards, WHS obligations, and organisational policies while promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a qualified finance professional with strong technical capability and a collaborative mindset.

You will ideally have:

- CA/CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting, Commerce or Economics
- 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting within a complex organisation
- Strong skills in financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory reporting
- Experience preparing Board-level reporting and supporting audits
- High attention to detail and robust communication skills
