Senior HR Advisor

Marine & Offshore Survey Operations

Location: Fremantle, Western Australia

Type: Full-time, Permanent — Onshore based

Shape the People Function in a Growing Survey Business

EGS Survey Australia is hiring a Senior HR Advisor to work alongside our leadership team and drive effective people practices across the business. We operate two 12 m Uncrewed Survey Vessels, our 44 m offshore survey vessel MV Shark1 is on station and working off the Australian coast, and we have a strong pipeline of Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, Defence, Telecommunications and Nautical Charting projects.

As we grow, we’re building our team to match — and that’s where you come in. You’ll be backed by external specialist HR consultants on complex matters, but this is a hands-on role with real ownership, not a seat in a big HR machine.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re after a confident, proactive HR professional ready to take broad ownership of the people function. The framework and external specialist support are there; you bring the practical judgement, the work ethic and the ability to turn policy into something that actually works on the ground.

This role suits either an HR Advisor ready for a genuine step up, or an experienced advisor looking for a hands-on setting where their input shapes how the business runs.

About the Role

Office-based at our Fremantle office, with occasional travel to our Henderson facility and other EGS sites as required. Standard 38-hour onshore working week, Monday to Friday.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and General Manager, working closely with leaders across the business to establish, run and continuously improve our HR systems, processes and documentation.

- Identify workplace issues and trends and implement solutions to address them
