Experienced Archaeologist / Cultural Heritage Consultant
Take ownership of projects and play a key role in CHCG’s continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver CHMPs from commencement to approval.
- Undertake field surveys, standard and complex assessments, test excavations and salvage programs.
- Prepare technical reports and ACHRIS submissions.
- Liaise with RAPs, clients, landowners and government agencies.
- Manage proposals, budgets, schedules, client relationships and business development opportunities.
Essential Requirements
- Experience delivering CHMPs in Victoria.
- Registered Victorian Heritage Advisor, or eligible for registration.
- Strong knowledge of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006, Aboriginal Heritage Regulations and Ministerial Guidelines.
- Excellent technical writing, communication and project management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
- Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout Victoria.
