What we are looking for

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, supporter-focused and highly organised professional with experience in community fundraising, peer-to-peer fundraising, events, marketing or supporter engagement. You will be proactive, collaborative and comfortable using data and supporter insights to identify opportunities, solve problems and improve fundraising outcomes.

Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, the Senior Marketing Executive, Community Fundraising will lead the delivery and supporter experience for UNICEF Australia’s running and ongoing community fundraising activities. You will also support emergency appeals, virtual fundraising campaigns and wider organisational campaigns as required.

Your day will include

- Managing running and mass-participation fundraising activities, including City2Surf and other third-party events, and building relationships with event partners.
- Delivering end-to-end supporter journeys across running, community and Fundraise Your Way programs, from acquisition and onboarding through to stewardship and post-event engagement.
- Supporting community fundraising activity for humanitarian emergencies,



virtual campaigns and wider organisational initiatives.
- Managing fundraising platforms, campaign pages, supporter communications and resources to deliver a positive and effective supporter experience.
- Building strong relationships with supporters and collaborating across teams to identify and amplify stories that showcase their involvement and impact.
- Planning and monitoring campaign activity, budgets and performance, using supporter feedback and data insights to improve participation, income and long-term engagement.

We would like you to have the following skills and experience

- Demonstrated experience in community fundraising, peer-to-peer fundraising, events, marketing, supporter engagement or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage fundraising or marketing campaigns from planning through to delivery, reporting and optimisation.
- Capability in developing supporter or customer journeys and communications across multiple channels, including digital fundraising or marketing platforms.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage supporters, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Confidence using fundraising performance data and supporter insights to improve campaign outcomes, and supporting budgets, forecasting and reporting
