This exciting role will provide the successful applicant the chance to provide high level physiotherapy clinical services and leadership in the specialty of Women's Pelvic Health within the Women's and Children's Directorate (WCS) to inpatients and outpatients of Sunshine Coast Health (SCH).
Physiotherapists within WCS work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with the Clinical Prioritisation Document. You may be required to work across other facilities within the directorate to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver independent high level physiotherapy clinical practice in relation to Women's Pelvic Health (including assessment, examination and investigation, diagnosis, treatment, triage and caseload prioritisation) with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
- Exercise professional judgement within a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence, within a single or multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards in paediatric physiotherapy.
- Oversee and co-ordinate care in the SCUH Maternity Ward, managing more complex cases as required,
whilst providing clinical leadership and supervision for rotational staff and students in the acute setting.
- Undertake clinical governance activities, such as the development of clinical practices and guidelines that support the continuum of care.
Remuneration value up to $5245.30 p.m. comprising salary rates: $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary part time position, 30.4 hrs p.f. for 3 months).
