As a Senior Relief Postie at our St Leonards Delivery Centre, you’ll hit the ground running and be operating and delivering on on foot utilising a backpack or wheeled trolley. This job requires the person to be flexible with potentially a different delivery area each day and flexible with finishing times. The Relief Postie jumps in to fill the gaps when people are on leave or we are extra busy. This is a permanent full-time position working every week-day, not a casual position.

You'll be

- Starting your day early in the morning sorting both mail and small parcels
- Responsible to cover and deliver to multiple rounds within a territory and no two days are alike
- Loading your vehicle with your deliveries for the day
- Delivering outdoors in all types of weather to deliver to homes and businesses
- Paired up with our experienced Rider Mentors, who are committed to engage and take part in your professional development

About you





- You enjoy walking and are happy to walk long distances delivering mail
- You have your own vehicle to get from the depot out to your deliveries (preferred but not necessary)
- You’re resilient and able to adapt to high volume and pressure
- You’re flexible with working additional hours if required
- You are ok to handle packages that may contain food and/or alcohol
- You have a outstanding memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
