You have strong analytical and communication skills, expertise in evidence gathering, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution, and the ability to interpret policies and functions to provide high-quality support and advice.

In this role, you'll: Be working as part of a team delivering road safety outcomes across the region through the investigation of safety issues, application of Safe System principles, and delivery of programs that provide community safety outcomes.

This role will see you coordinate road safety reviews, triage and coordinate speed zone reviews, provide safety advice to stakeholders, lead partnerships across Transport programs, respond to customer enquiries, and analyse customer data to inform decision-making and safety improvements.

You will lead community safety outcomes in a complex setting balancing diverse community expectations, strategic safety priorities, emerging safety issues and competing stakeholder interests.

This role will be based in the West region, working in our Central Precinct.

About You You bring strong road safety and/or behavioural knowledge and experience in safety assessments, investigations and stakeholder engagement.

You are a collaborative communicator who can analyse data, provide sound advice and build effective relationships with councils, government agencies and community stakeholders to deliver positive community safety outcomes.
