Job Description

Canva is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer for Performance Monitoring to design, build, and maintain metrics-driven tooling across client and server boundaries. You'll work on lightweight SDKs, dashboards, and CI/PR checks surfacing core performance signals such as LCP, INP, and CLS, while embedding OpenTelemetry standards across billions of events daily.

You'll collaborate with platform and infra teams, deploy no-merge-if-slower checks, and investigate systemic bottlenecks using Chrome DevTools
