About the Food Technology Teaching Role
We are seeking a Food Technology teacher who:
- Demonstrates strong pedagogical and content knowledge in Food Technology across Years 7–12
- Uses explicit instruction, practical activities, and formative assessment to guide student learning
- Differentiates learning to support students of all abilities, including EAL and culturally diverse learners
- Integrates technology and hands-on, project-based strategies to enhance engagement and real-world application
- Embodies a growth mindset and commitment to professional learning
Promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom setting
Food Technology teacher requirements?
- Relevant teaching qualifications in Food Technology
- VIT registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Understanding of inclusive education and compliance with relevant legislation
