What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting tradespeople with daily workshop operations
- Supporting Fitters and maintenance personnel with repair and refurbishment work
- Assisting spray painting and abrasive blasting crews
- Preparing equipment and components for maintenance activities
- Performing general workshop housekeeping duties
- Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the workshop
- Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
What You Will Need
- Previous experience in a Trade Assistant, Workshop Assistant, Labouring, or Industrial role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
Highly Regarded
Experience supporting Fitters, Boilermakers, or Mechanical Trades including:
- Spray Painting experience
- Abrasive Blasting experience
- Industrial, mining, or maintenance workshop experience
Forklift Licence
High Risk Work Licences
