About the Client
Our client is a well-established civil construction and engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across a range of sectors. Their capabilities include roadworks, earthworks, bridges, rail infrastructure, drainage, pipelines, water infrastructure and other specialised civil works..
Hours:
Monday to Friday | 6:30am starts and working 9 hour days
What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will be working as both a electrical spotter for the workers onsite and doing labouring duties when required. Your main duties will include:
- Spotting machinery under powerlines and on the road around live traffic
- Assisting with site preparation and site cleanup each day
- Conducting labouring duties including filling sandbags, putting up fencing, moving fencing and assisting operators when required
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- UETDREL006 Authorized Energex Electrical Spotter or willing to obtain ($60)
- Previous experience as a electrical spotter
- Previous labouring experience
- Physically fit and reliable
