Our client is a trusted community organisation dedicated to supporting people experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness across Central Queensland. Through their Housing and Homelessness department in Gladstone, they provide practical, personcentred support including crisis assistance, access to safe and stable housing, and pathways to longterm independence. Working closely with individuals, families, and local services, the team addresses immediate needs while tackling the underlying causes of homelessness with dignity and compassion.Your new role

Provide tenancy and housing support to clients to help maintain stable accommodation Assist clients to develop independent living skills and sustain long-term housing outcomes Conduct client assessments, support planning, and referrals to relevant services Maintain accurate case notes, records, and client documentation Liaise with internal teams, community services, and external stakeholders Support clients with housing-related enquiries, tenancy obligations, and life skills development Complete administrative tasks and utilise web-based systems to maintain client information Work collaboratively within a team to deliver positive outcomes for clients

What you'll need to succeed
Qualification in Community Services, Housing,



or a related fieldUnderstanding of tenancy management, community housing, or sustaining rental accommodationPrevious support work experience, including working with challenging or vulnerable clientsStrong computer literacy and confidence using web-based systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage documentation, case notes, and administrative requirements accuratelyAbility to build rapport and maintain skilled boundariesWhat you'll get in return
