We are seeking a motivated and experienced Planning / Project Management qualified to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse range of development and infrastructure projects, collaborating with clients, consultants, authorities and multidisciplinary teams from project inception through to delivery.

About the Role

Depending on your experience, you will have the opportunity to:

- Lead or contribute to the preparation of Material Change of Use (MCU), Reconfiguring a Lot (ROL) and other development applications.
- Provide planning and project management input into development strategies, precinct planning, infrastructure projects, growth strategies, employment and housing studies and related technical assessments.
- Prepare and coordinate planning documentation, reports, submissions, presentations and client-facing materials.
- Provide high-quality planning and development advice informed by current legislation, government policies, planning schemes, market conditions and project requirements.
- Work closely with our civil, structural, hydraulic, geotechnical, project management and planning teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Coordinate with external consultants, government authorities, contractors, clients and other project stakeholders.
- Assist with development approvals, authority negotiations and project coordination throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify project risks, constraints and opportunities and provide practical recommendations and solutions.
- Manage project timeframes, budgets,



deliverables and client expectations.
- Contribute to business development, tenders, proposals and client relationships.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings a combination of technical knowledge, commercial awareness and strong communication skills.

You will ideally have

- A Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Project Management, Engineering or a relevant equivalent qualification and experience.
- Relevant experience in town planning, development assessment, project management, engineering or construction.
- Demonstrated experience working on development, infrastructure, engineering or construction projects.
- Experience preparing or contributing to MCU, ROL, planning applications, planning reports and development documentation.
- An understanding of Queensland planning legislation, local government processes and development assessment requirements.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary consultants and coordinating technical inputs.
- Exposure to civil, structural, hydraulic or geotechnical engineering would be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong project management, organisational and time-management skills.




- The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- A current C Class Driver Licence.
- A General Construction Induction Card (White Card) would be advantageous where relevant to project requirements.
