The Opportunity

You've built strong foundations in SEO and know what drives rankings, traffic and organic performance. Now you're ready to own more of the client relationship and have a bigger say in the strategy behind the work.

This is an established independent digital marketing agency with specialist teams across SEO, Paid Media, CRM, CRO, Analytics and Creative. You'll manage a portfolio of SEO clients, working closely with experienced specialists and senior digital leaders to shape organic strategy and turn search insights into measurable growth.

This role sits at the intersection of SEO strategy, client management and project ownership, giving you the opportunity to move beyond pure execution and take greater ownership of client outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

Client & Strategy

- Own day-to-day relationships across a portfolio of SEO clients.
- Lead client meetings, strategy discussions and performance reviews.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into clear SEO priorities and roadmaps.
- Present recommendations,



insights and growth opportunities directly to clients.

SEO & Organic Growth

- Develop SEO strategies across technical, on-page and content SEO.
- Conduct technical audits, keyword research, search intent analysis and competitor research.
- Identify opportunities across site architecture, metadata, internal linking, content and SERP performance.
- Build SEO roadmaps balancing immediate opportunities with long-term organic growth.

Performance & Analytics

- Analyse organic performance across rankings, traffic, conversions and wider business KPIs.
- Use GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog to uncover trends, risks and opportunities.
- Turn SEO data into clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
- Track performance and communicate results, insights and next steps to clients.

Account & Project Management

- Manage multiple SEO accounts across priorities, timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate with SEO specialists, content teams and wider digital teams to turn strategy into execution.
- Keep projects moving while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams.
- Contribute to research, proposals and new business opportunities where relevant.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally bring:

- 3+ years of SEO experience, ideally within an SEO, digital or performance marketing agency.
- Strong knowledge across technical SEO, on-page SEO and content-led SEO, including keyword research, search intent, SERP analysis and competitor research.
- Experience managing multiple SEO campaigns, projects or client accounts, with the confidence to lead client conversations around strategy and performance.
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console and SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog, or comparable tools.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with an organised and proactive approach to managing priorities, deadlines and client expectations.
