Forever Learning Kindergarten & Childcare is seeking a warm, motivated and experienced Service Chef to join our team!

This role is so much more than cooking, you’ll be a key part of our service community, supporting children’s wellbeing through fresh nutritious meals, safe kitchen practices, and positive food relationships.

About the Role

As our Service Chef, you will be responsible for:

- Planning and implementing a fresh, seasonal rotating menu
- Preparing and serving safe, nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0–6 years
- Catering for allergies, intolerances, dietary needs and cultural preferences
- Maintaining strong food safety and hygiene practices in line with legislation
- Completing kitchen cleaning schedules, temperature logs and safety checklists
- Supporting child-inclusive cooking experiences and nutrition education where appropriate




- Building positive relationships with families and the teaching team

Essential Requirements

- Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

- Current training in
- Anaphylaxis
- Allergy Management
- First Aid
