About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager / Senior Service Advisor to join our team. This is a crucial role in managing our service department operations and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will oversee the daily running of our service center, coordinate with technicians, manage customer interactions, and drive the efficiency and profitability of our service operations.

This role combines hands-on advisory responsibilities with supervisory and operational management duties, making it ideal for a skilled professional looking to progress their automotive career.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the service department.

- Provide professional service advice and recommendations to customers.

- Schedule bookings and coordinate workshop workflow.

- Allocate work efficiently to technicians.

- Support, mentor, and develop service team members.

- Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction.

- Prepare quotations, estimates, and repair orders.

- Resolve customer enquiries.

- Track service performance and department results.

- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.





- Build strong customer relationships to drive repeat business.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor or Service Management role is essential.

- Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.

- Proven ability to lead and support a team.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Confident using dealership or service management systems.

- Understanding of workshop safety and compliance requirements.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

- Automotive trade qualifications are highly regarded.

- Current driver's license.

- A genuine commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
