We're looking for a passionate and experienced Service Manager to lead our Vermeer Service Department in Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing As a Service Manager, you will:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations and financial performance of the Service Department
- Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team of Service Technicians
- Lead by example across the entire department, assisting with workforce planning, job coordination, team supervision and the achievement of key metric targets.
- Drive workshop presentation, customer engagement and service excellence by maintaining high standards of housekeeping, communication and operational execution.
- Manage warranty costs,



workshop assets and departmental budgets in line with company expectations
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who:

- Brings experience in service management, workshop operations or a similar leadership role
- Has demonstrated commercial and financial management expertise
- Possesses a strong technical and industry understanding
- Has a proven ability to lead, mentor and develop teams to achieve shared goals
- Brings experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S or continuous improvement programs
- Has excellent communication, decision-making and stakeholder management skills
- Is focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Is safety conscious, solutions focused and ready to grow
- A proactive team player who takes ownership and drives results
- Is confident using business systems, reporting tools and computer applications
