My client requires a Service Technician for a permanent role in Osbourne Park, paying up to $110'000 + super.

Supporting the health care industry, my client requires a Service Technician for a permanent role.

Your recent role

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, calibration and technical support, mainly working in the workshop, though there will be opportunities to occasionally, work at customer sites. The role would be suitable for either an entry level to mid-tech technician wanting to develop a career.

Key Responsibilities

Service & repair
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs and fault diagnosis on biomedical and electro-medical equipment.
- Install, commission and configure new medical devices and associated accessories.
- Carry out hardware and software upgrades in accordance with manufacturer procedures.
- Perform electrical safety testing and functional verification using approved test equipment.
- Complete final quality inspections prior to equipment being returned to customers.

Field service




- Attend customer sites to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs and emergency breakdown support.
- Install and commission new equipment at customer facilities.
- Provide basic operator instruction following installation or servicing.

What you'll need to succeed To be considered and successful in this role, you will have either the below or a related technical discipline.
- Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma or Associate Degree in:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Electronics
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Instrumentation
- Telecommunications
- Basic understanding of electronic systems and fault-finding

What you'll get in return This is a progressive, permanent role, paying between $80'000 and $110'000 + super depending on experience.
