About the role

Concept Stainless Design is a family-owned general jobbing fabrication business specialising in custom stainless steel and other general metal works. We're looking for a qualified Sheet Metal Tradesperson OR Apprentice to join our small, experienced workshop team. All jobs are diverse with minimal repetition.

We're open to

- A qualified and experienced Sheet Metal Tradesperson
- A 1st-4th year Sheet Metal Apprentice looking to continue their apprenticeship
- The right person looking to start a Sheet Metal apprenticeship

Key responsibilities

- General stainless steel fabrication

- Architectural handrails and balustrades

- Code compliant access hand rails

- Domestic and architectural benchtops

- Commercial kitchen items

- Architectural and shopfitting work

- Mild steel and aluminum fabrication

- Custom and one-off projects

- General workshop fabrication and site installations

About you

Qualified Tradespeople: Good fabrication skills, ability to work confidently from drawings, takes pride in producing quality work.



Experience with TIG welding and stainless steel fabrication is highly regarded.

Apprentices: Reliable and willing to learn, practical and enjoys hands-on work, able to take direction and work as part of a team, keen to develop quality fabrication and welding skills, genuinely interested in building a career in the trade. 1st–4th year Sheet Metal Apprentice looking to continue apprenticeship, or looking to start a Sheet Metal apprenticeship.

Hourly rate will be based on skills and experience.
