About the role

Mahers Glassworks is seeking an experienced Shower Screen Installer specialising in Domestic Glazing to join our team in Swan Hill, Victoria. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will be responsible for the professional installation of shower screens and domestic glazing products in residential properties across the region. This role is critical to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and maintaining the high standards Mahers Glassworks is known for in the local community.

What you'll be doing

- Installing shower screens, frameless glass enclosures and other domestic glazing products in residential properties
- Measuring and Installing wardrobes
- Domestic and commercial reglazes
- Measuring, preparing and accurately fitting glass panels and associated hardware to customer specifications
- Ensuring all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety standards and quality requirements
- Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and provide professional guidance on glazing options
- Conducting site inspections and preparing accurate quotes for prospective customers
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and following health and safety protocols on all job sites
- Troubleshooting installation issues and providing remedial work when necessary
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring job sites are left clean and tidy upon completion

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a shower screen or domestic glazing installer with a strong portfolio of completed work
- Comprehensive knowledge of glass types, glazing systems, sealing techniques and installation best practices
- Proficiency in using installation tools and equipment, including glass cutters, drills, silicone guns and measuring instruments
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations and WorkSafe requirements relevant to glazing installations




- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients
- Physical fitness
- Ability to work by yourself and also in a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sites
- A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Preferred: Trade qualifications in glazing or building trades, and experience with frameless glass systems
