Security Platform Engineer – Google SecOps

Sydney, NSW | Permanent | Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced Security Platform Engineer with hands‑on Google SecOps / Chronicle experience to support and enhance a security operations workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Google SecOps SIEM/SOAR .
- Manage and troubleshoot security log and telemetry ingestion.
- Support parsing, enrichment and routing of security data.
- Monitor platform health, performance and data quality.
- Assist with platform changes, upgrades and deployments.
- Work closely with SOC, Security Engineering, Cloud and Infrastructure teams.

Skills & Experience

- Hands‑on experience with Google SecOps / Chronicle .
- Strong understanding of SIEM, log ingestion and security telemetry .
- Experience troubleshooting data and platform issues.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Python, Terraform, CI/CD or OpenTelemetry would be advantageous.
