Role Description The Site Operations Manager is a contract, on-site role located across various sites around Australia, responsible for overseeing daily operations related to rubber lining and coating projects. This role coordinates job planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within quality standards.

The Site Operations

Manager supervises site teams, monitors work progress, and addresses operational issues as they arise. They collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, manage site documentation, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. The role also includes reporting on project status,



managing materials and equipment, and supporting continuous improvement of site processes and productivity.

Qualifications

- Solid site operations management skills, including planning, scheduling, and supervision of industrial projects.
- Experience in mining, processing, or heavy industry environments, ideally involving rubber lining, coatings, or similar protective systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, delegate tasks effectively, and uphold safety culture on-site.
- Proficiency in coordinating logistics, materials, and equipment, with solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and environmental compliance relevant to industrial sites.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and contractors.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare operational reports, and use basic computer tools for documentation and scheduling.
- Relevant trade qualification or technical background in industrial maintenance, coatings, or related fields; supervisory or management experience is highly regarded.
- Willingness to work on-site across Australia, and comply with site access, induction, and fitness-for-work requirements.
