Skilled Labourers, Pavers, Formworkers & Concreters – Defence Base Work, NT

Grange Group is currently recruiting for multiple positions to support ongoing defence base works in the Northern Territory. We have immediate openings for General Labourers, Pavers, Formworkers and Concreters, all on a local, long-term project with excellent rates on offer.

Positions Available

General Labourers

We're after motivated, reliable labourers to support our crews across a range of general site duties, including site clean-up, materials handling, assisting tradespeople, and general construction support. No specific trade experience required - just a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to get stuck in. Night shift also available at a higher rate.

Pavers

We're looking for experienced pavers with a proven track record in laying pavers to a high standard. You'll need hands-on experience across preparation, laying, cutting and finishing paved areas, along with a valuable eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Formworkers

We require skilled formworkers to read and interpret plans, and construct, erect and strike formwork for slabs,



footings and other structural elements to a high standard of accuracy and finish. Previous experience on commercial or civil projects is essential including high rises (sky deck), along with a solid understanding of formwork systems and site safety requirements.

Concreters

We're seeking experienced concreters to place, finish and cure concrete across various structures including slabs, footpaths and hardstands. You'll need a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, the ability to work to tight tolerances, and experience working as part of a coordinated pour crew.

Requirements

- Current, clean National Police Clearance (required for defence base access)

- Current Defence Common Access Card (DCAC) highly regarded, but not essential

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team

- Relevant experience for the role applied for (see above)
