Founded in Sydney in 2014, Archie Rose Distilling Co. is Australia's leading independent distillery, producing a range of award-winning whiskies, gins, vodkas and rums using locally sourced ingredients.
In 2026, we welcomed Australian legend Chris Hemsworth as co-owner of Archie Rose, alongside founder Will Edwards, marking a milestone in our journey to bring Australian grown and made spirits to the world.
Our constant quest for innovation and progression is also embodied in the content we produce and share via our social channels, website, bar, database and the many events and experiences we stage every year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Archie Rose as a Social and Brand Coordinator, working to support the further growth of the company in Australia and around the world. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively and effectively on a range of creative projects, supporting the brand and content team based at our distillery in Botany.
Your responsibilities will include
Social & Content Support
- Content Production: Shooting and editing lo-fi video for use on our Instagram & TikTok accounts, captioning, assisting with producing lo-fi live content during product launch events and activations.
- Social Media: Assist our Digital Content & Social Media manager in bringing our global social media strategy to life on all key channels including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, writing effective creative briefs for social content, trafficking approvals with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting with scheduling social posts.
- Copywriting: Occasional copywriting for social media content.
- Community Management: Assist with community management on a daily basis,
and proactively engage with our global community.
- Influencer & creator support: Assist in structuring and writing influencer briefs, and effectively communicate with creator partners/agencies under the guidance of our Digital Content & Social Media Manager.
Brand Marketing Support
- Campaign Support: Assist the Brand Manager and Assistant Brand Manager in the development and execution of digital and promotional campaigns and material across consumer, venue, activations and trade to drive awareness and grow audiences. This involves writing briefs, managing artwork through the design studio, timeline management and internal stakeholder feedback.
- PR fulfilment: Support the Brand Marketing Manager with PR activity and rollouts, promptly providing photography assets and dispatching products to influencers and media partners when requested.
- Other general marketing coordination as needed: to support the general growth of the business, including awards management, invoicing, and assisting with partnership enquiries.
Reporting Relationships
- Based in Sydney, the role sits within the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Digital Content & Social Media Manager.
- Establishing team-oriented cross-functional relationships with the broader marketing team, trade marketing team, events team, bar team,
operations and production teams.
Desired skills and experience:
- At least 1-2 years experience in an execution-based social media and/or brand marketing role.
- Strong and competent project management experience – including assisting with social media calendars, basic content creation. Influencer management skills are desirable however not required.
- Basic experience in creating video content with an iPhone and/or professional camera equipment, as well as editing with tools such as Capcut, Canva and/or Adobe suite is preferred.
- Passionate and invested in Australian and global culture, hospitality, spirits, cocktails, design, customer experience, traditional media, social media and other digital mediums.
- Be proactive, eager to learn and keen to improve ways of working to help grow and support the team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, conflict resolution skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, advertising, PR or communications is preferred however not mandatory.
Please note, this is an office-based role located in Banksmeadow, Sydney. The successful applicant will be required to be in the office 4 days/week.
