Social Media Manager |Trippas White Group | Sydney, NSW | Full-time

About Us

Trippas White Group is one of Australia's leading venue management and hospitality companies. We operate more than 35 restaurants, bars, cafes and event spaces across some of the country's most recognisable locations - including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Tower, Taronga Zoo, the Queen Victoria Building, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, Centennial Parklands and more.

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to lead the content and social strategy across our venue portfolio - someone who can juggle a lot of different brand personalities without losing the thread, and who genuinely enjoys hospitality, food and events.

The Role

You'll own social media strategy and execution across our group of venues, working closely with each venue's marketing manager and operations teams to make sure every account feels true to that venue while still fitting our broader brand standards. This is a hands-on role - you'll be planning content, shooting and editing where needed, briefing photographers and videographers, and keeping a close eye on what's working.

What You'll Do

- Develop and run social media strategy and content calendars across the group's venues (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others as relevant).
- Create and edit content - photography, video, reels, and copy - either yourself or by briefing freelancers and agencies.
- Keep each venue's voice distinct while maintaining consistency with the wider Trippas White Group brand.
- Manage day-to-day posting, community engagement and reputation management across accounts.
- Coordinate content around events, launches, seasonal menus and promotions

- Liaise with external PR agency to book in influencers and content creators into the venues.
- Track performance across venues and report on what's driving engagement, bookings and awareness.
- Stay on top of platform trends and bring current ideas to the table - formats, creators, campaign concepts.
- Work with venue managers, chefs and the wider marketing team to source content and align on priorities.

What You'll Bring

- 3+ years' experience in social media management, ideally in hospitality, food and beverage, tourism or events.
- Strong content creation skills - comfortable shooting and editing photo and video content yourself on iPhone.
- A good eye for what makes hospitality content actually work (not just look nice).
- Experience managing multiple brands or accounts at once.
- Solid understanding of platform analytics and how to turn numbers into decisions.
- Excellent writing skills across different tones and audiences.
- A love for the hospitality industry, food, drinks & experiences.
- Ability to work across a busy portfolio of venues and juggle competing deadlines.
- Reports to the Digital Marketing Manager, with close collaboration with Venue Marketing Managers to ensure brand consistency across venues.

Nice to Have

- Experience with content for paid social campaigns
- A background working directly in hospitality (front of house, events, or similar)
- Existing relationships with food, lifestyle or Sydney-based content creators
- Comfortable creating relationships with venues to be able to

Why Join Us

- Work across some of Sydney's most iconic venues and locations
- Variety - no two venues or weeks look the same
- Staff dining and venue discounts across the group
- Genuine room to shape how we show up on social as the portfolio grows
- A dedicated WFH day a week
