About us:

The Allied Health Service Cassowary Hub is part of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. It encompasses three rural hospitals; Innisfail, Tully and Babinda and provides high quality Allied Health Services including Child Protection Liaison, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Dietetics and Speech Pathology.

About your role:

- Apply high level qualified judgement and decision making to manage a complex caseload, adapting routine and non-routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable clinical evidence with minimal direct clinical practice supervision.
- Provide a leadership role in the clinical assessment and intervention planning for service consumers from a Social Work and multidisciplinary team perspective, ensuring timely identification of client's needs, service provision, and discharge planning within the work unit or professional team.




- Actively participate in professional education within the work unit and professional team and contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the Innisfail Hospital, across the Allied Health Service Cassowary Hub and for the Social Work profession.
