Green Light are assisting in delivering projects for an industry leading organisation and have an immediate requirement for a talented SOE Engineer (NV1). The role an initial 3-6 month assignment with the view to extend. It is an onsite role based in Canberra.

This role does require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance at a minimum. Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered. This role will work with a federal government client and may require some interstate travel.

Responsibilities:

- Development, build and implementation of Windows operating systems
- Integration of complex ICT infrastructure software and applications with platform operating systems
- Application Packaging, Virtualisation and Deployment
- Proactive maintenance, patching and upgrading of a distributed enterprise
- Deployment of ICT infrastructure software and applications
- Development and Build defect remediation
- Analyse, log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to Windows SOEs, and integrated business applications
- Creation and peer review of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides and related artefacts

Requirements:

- Modern Microsoft Windows SOE Development & Deployment
- Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit & Windows Deployment Services




- Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Implementation & Maintenance
- Microsoft Windows Installer and App-V Experience
- Powershell scripting knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of systems maintenance and security vulnerability management
- Good communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
